How should I use UV, IR, Red, and Blue supplemental lights for the best growing results?
Each light type plays a specific role during a plant's life cycle — and timing matters. For specific usage times, please refer to the chart at the bottom of this page.
- IR-Licht: Recommended for the flowering stage. Run 30 Minuten täglich — 15 minutes before the main light starts, and 15 minutes after the main light turns off.
- UV-Licht: During the flowering stage, turn on for 10 Minuten pro Stunde when the main light is on. Advanced users can gradually increase UV exposure based on the growth stage. *Note: UV rays may irritate plants and cause damage, so they should not be used for long periods of time.
- Rotlicht: Used throughout the flowering phase. Match the main light schedule (usually 12 hours ON / 12 hours OFF).
- Blaues Licht: Used throughout the vegetative stage. Synchronize with the main light schedule.

How do I power the ADlite LED light bars?
Please note that ADlite light bars are independently powered.
Each ADlite comes with its own plug, making it a true plug-and-play solution. Due to differences in power requirements and usage time, they cannot share the same power driver with dimmable main LED grow lights.
This means ADlite bars require a separate power connection.
The good news is, this allows you to pair them with any third-party brand of main LED grow light, without being limited by the power capacity of the main light’s driver. Just make sure to check the dimensions (length and width) for compatibility.
Can I connect ADlite to the MarsPro App?
While the ADlite LED bars do not have built-in smart modules, you can still achieve remote smart timing control by pairing them with the Mars Hydro iTime 2-in-1 Smart Timer or iHub. For a full ADlite set (UV + IR + Red + Blue), only two iTime timers are needed to complete the setup.
In short, by purchasing iTime smart timers separately, you can easily integrate your ADlite bars into the MarsPro App, enabling scheduled on/off control and eliminating the hassle of frequent manual switching.
